Description

Want to improve the quality of the student work that you receive? Want to spend less time grading and reduce equity gaps in your classroom? In this interactive workshop grounded in University of Nevada Las Vegas’s Transparent Assignment Design (TILT) framework, you will learn evidence-based strategies to make the purpose, tasks, and success criteria of assignments explicit—improving student outcomes, reducing equity gaps, and saving you time on grading. You’ll apply the framework to one of your own assignments during the workshop and walk away with concrete revisions you can use right away. This workshop will be facilitated by Robin Cresiski (Graduate School).
